This beautiful soft scarf designed and made by Alexander Thurlow features a design of small purple poppies on a black background and can be worn in conjunction with the purple poppy brooch or more traditional red poppies for remembrance.
The purple poppy is a symbol of remembrance in the United Kingdom for animals lost in war. Alongside their contribution on official duties, animals have also been much valued as mascots, figures of good luck and a source of comfort for those on active service.
