Battle Of Hastings King Harold Replica Coin

Description

Full colour wallet type packaging houses a reproduction pewter Harold penny. On the inside and reverse there is information about the Battle of Hastings. The Battle of Hastings was fought on 14th October 1066. Early efforts by William to break the English battle lines failed. The Normans then pretended to retreat and as the English troops pursued them their cavalry attacked. This weakened Harold's army. Later in the day Harold was killed and the Battle was over. William became King of England.
