Old Folding Maps specialise in supplying original maps and reproductions of rarer antique maps - all dissected, laid onto 100% natural linen cloth and supplied in unique hand-made matching slip cases. This is a very special gift for a map-lover.
This map or plan of Liverpool was first published in 1851 by H.G.Collins, republished 2017. Shown in great detail are the city, for example Lime Street, Rodney Street, West Derby, Everton and Kirkdale, and the docks, including the Albert Dock, Princes Dock, and Brunswick Dock. Liverpool was one of the major ports used by emigrants to the New World in the mid 19th century. These emigrants not only came from the UK but all over Western Europe.
