The Menin Road runs diagonally across the sheet and famous names like Shrewsbury Forest; Dumbarton Lakes; Becelaem; Inverness Copse and Sterling Castle are prominent. The area on the western side of the sheet where the lines are given names beginning with either an or a is absolutely covered with diggings. Sanctuary Wood was in the area for example.
