War Horse Purple Poppy Brooch

Description

The purple poppy is a symbol of remembrance in the United Kingdom for animals lost in during war. Alongside their contribution on official duties, animals have also been much valued as mascots, figures of good luck and a source of comfort for those on active service. This beautiful brooch designed by Alexander Thurlow depicts a cavalry horse crossing a purple poppy line of barbed wire. A stunning item which can be worn in conjunction with our purple poppy scarf for remembrance.
